The nights are getting a little longer now. From here until December, the light will soften a little more each day.
It can be easy to meet this season by hurrying through it - wishing the darker days away and waiting for the light to return. But nature isn't rushing.
The sap is drawing back into the roots. The animals are slowing down. The earth is beginning to quiet, making space for rest before another season of growth.
The fall equinox marks that gentle turning point - a moment of balance between light and dark, and an invitation to notice where we might be ready to soften, release, and turn inward too.
On the evening of the equinox, we'll gather inside the geodome at Sacred Woods Farm. We'll share warm tea, settle into the space, and take a little time to connect with where we actually are right now -…
